See your Felicity Solar inverter on your iPhone

Download on the App StoreFsolar is Felicity's own app, and everything about your inverter lives there. Cenit doesn't replace it. It's another way to look at the same data, built around one question. What you need
Your inverter already in Fsolar
Your inverter has to show up in Fsolar, through Felicity's Wi-Fi module. Cenit only sees what already reaches Fsolar.
Your Fsolar email and password
The same ones you use in the app. If your installer set up the account, ask them for it. The password is kept in your iPhone's Keychain and only goes to Felicity's servers.
If you check it in SmartESS or WatchPower
That's a different kind of dongle, and Cenit can't read it yet.
How to connect it
- Download Cenit and open it. It starts on example data, so you can look around before you connect anything.
- Tap Connect, and under Which inverter do you have? pick Felicity Solar.
- Type your Fsolar email and password.
- If your login sees several plants, Cenit asks which one to open.
- That's it. Cenit pulls in daily totals going back up to a year and the full curve for the last 90 days.
After a few wrong passwords, Felicity wants to check you're a person. Log in once at shine.felicitysolar.com, then connect again in Cenit.
What it shows for Felicity
The whole plant, not each panel
Felicity inverters report the total for the whole plant. You'll see your production and your savings, but not the per-panel view some other brands get.
Today against your best days
Drag your finger along today's curve to see what the panels were making at any moment. The dashed line is the most they made at that time of day over the last two weeks. A sunny day that comes in under it means something changed.
What the panels save you
Tell it what you pay per kWh and what you get for power you send to the grid, and it works out roughly how much the panels saved you this month and this year, in your own currency. In Mexico you get your margin before CFE's DAC tariff instead.
Alerts and widgets
A heads-up when your inverter stops reporting in daylight, or when your clear days come in lower than usual (dust, shade or a fault). Today's numbers sit on your home screen.
How often it reads
Felicity inverters upload every five minutes, and Cenit reads at the same pace while it's open. With the app closed, it checks now and then for alerts.
Cenit and Fsolar
Both read the same Felicity cloud, so you don't have to pick one.
What Cenit adds
One screen that tells you whether today is on track next to your best days, a savings estimate, an alert when the inverter goes quiet, and your history saved on your phone. If you also have panels on another brand, they show up in the same app.
What you still use Fsolar for
Adding the inverter, setting up the Wi-Fi module, changing settings, and checking the battery and your home's use. Cenit only reads. It never changes anything on your inverter.
What it costs
Up to 3 plants is free for good, so a home never pays. There are no ads.
If you're an installer and your Fsolar login sees more plants, you pay once or monthly depending on how many. 4 to 10 plants cost 9.99 USD once or 0.99 USD a month. 11 to 49 cost 39.99 USD once or 3.99 USD a month. 50 or more cost 74.99 USD once or 7.99 USD a month. Every plant is open for the first month, so you can try it before you pay.
Questions
Is there another app to see my Felicity Solar inverter on iPhone, besides Fsolar?
Yes, Cenit. You sign in with the same email and password as Fsolar and see today's production, your history and how today compares with your best days. It's free for up to 3 plants.
Fsolar won't load. Will Cenit?
It depends on what's broken. Cenit reads the same Felicity cloud as Fsolar. If only the Fsolar app is failing, Cenit can still show your numbers. If the Wi-Fi module stopped sending data or Felicity's server is down, neither app will have anything new. In that case Cenit lets you know when your inverter stops reporting in daylight.
Does Cenit show my Felicity battery?
No. Cenit reads what your panels produce. Battery charge, what your home uses and what you draw from the grid are still in Fsolar.
My inverter shows up in SmartESS or WatchPower, not Fsolar. Will it work?
Not yet. That's a different kind of dongle, and Cenit only reads inverters that show up in Fsolar through Felicity's Wi-Fi module. If that's you, write to privacidad@hrvojematosic.com and I'll move it up the list.
Is Cenit made by Felicity Solar?
No. Cenit is an independent app by Hrvoje Matošić, made in Mexico, and isn't connected with Felicity Solar. Felicity doesn't publish an API for owners, so Cenit talks to the same server the Fsolar app uses. If Felicity changes something on their side, the connection can stop working for a while.
